On behalf of my professional photographer friend, his nearly one-year old AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED lens is now For Sale.

The focal length is from 18mm up to 200mm, which basically covers everything from wide angle to telephoto.

Well, it comes with everything in the box and it’s only selling for RM2,000.

It’s in perfect condition, which I reckon to be 9/10, with an unfilled warranty.

Best of all, it comes with a VR function (Vibration Reduction), which is equivalent to Canon’s IS (Image Stabilizer).

Capture the moments through this superb Nikkor lens, from landscapes to portraits, to fashion shows and motorsports even.

An absolute perfect and must have lens for photography newbies.

It can store up to 4 Compact Flash cards. Bought it for AUD$35, which I still think rather expensive.

While I was at it, also checked the prices for a few items and came to the conclusion that almost everything here is expensive.

Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8 L II USM wide angle zoom lens is selling for about AUD$2200, which is nearly 1/3 more expensive than in Malaysia.

Canon EF 300mm f2.8 L IS USM super telephoto lens is about AUD$8300, which is estimated RM9000 more compared with the purchase price I could get in Malaysia.

They don’t sell Fujifilm Instax instant cameras here but they do sell the films for it, which I think is ridiculous at some point.

‘My Book‘ from Western Digital and ‘Time Capsule‘ from Apple, which I opted for the 1 terabyte hard drive, both are about RM300 more expensive than the selling price in Malaysia.

Also trying my luck for Tattersall’s AUD$19 million Superdraw Jackpot for this coming 23rd August.

I’m totally lost for words. Perhaps I’m too bored here. Another month to go before we return to Malaysia.

How am I suppose to kill time ?

As a newbie in parenthood, I’m starting to enjoy washing little Leanne’s milk bottles everyday.

Milk feeding however, is not quite easy as it looks.

Little Leanne has to be fed every 3-4 hours, 2.5 oz every feed.

And it’s not an easy thing for us to wake up in the middle of the night, especially 4-5 am in the morning.

When it comes to nappy changing, it would takes ages … for me.

At most times, little Leanne would cry, because her daddy is lousy in cleaning up her mess.

Besides, handling poo poo is not my area of specialty.

They say this is only the beginning. Once little Leanne starts to crawl/walk, it’s my turn to cry …

Unfortunately I’m still lousy at changing diapers …

As Vincent mentioned, I’m better at changing camera lenses than diapers.

Nevertheless, it’s still much fun to have a baby around.

Noticed a tiny dust and possible back focus issue with my 70-200 f/2.8 L IS USM.

Need to send in to Canon Service Center for verification when I get back from Melbourne.

It was 2 weeks earlier than expected.

The entire labour process took approximately 32 hours of contraction & back pain and 1.5 hours of hard pushes.

Giving birth is a tough and exhausting job I tell yah’.

Little Leanne was finally born at 3.04 pm Australian Time, 29 July 2008, at Royal Women Hospital, Melbourne Australia.

And still, my luggage is somewhere between empty and not-so-empty.

I’m just simply lousy at packing.

On the other hand, I may not be able to organise and join the next Client-Supplier Golf Competition in August.

One thing about playing golf with Japanese guys, it can be really fun. Most importantly, there are prizes to be won.

Did I mention that in the last golf competition, about 2 weeks ago, I won the second prize; A Genuine Bought-In-Japan Pornographic Magazine with Adult Video DVD included, as thick as the Standard Operating Procedures Manual in my office.

Decided not to bring the magazine and DVD back home. So I left it in the office conference room.

Just for your information, winners of the competition get to keep the prizes for a month.

Well, I also lost RM30 in total to the guys for the scores betting.

Guess I’ve no luck with gambling anyway.

Ooopppsss !!! Have to pack my luggage now …

Just something irrelevant here. Hong Wee and Vincent Pang just upgraded their camera bodies from entry-level to semi-pro, EOS 40D.

It would be even more perfect if Jee Kian would consider to change to the Down-Side (Canon) from the Dark-Side (Nikon). LOL …

The Down-Side and Dark-Side has a long history of endless brand war debate for over decades.

I apologize for not be able to edit the photos before posting. My iMac computer decided to die on me instead. Most likely to trade-in and get a new one soon.

The photo shooting started about 9.30 in the morning, and Jee Kian was late coz’ he overslept.

We had no specific theme to achieve on that day, but merely casual shoots of both of them.

It was also my first time to attempt a continuous 4 photo shootings in a day.
