Have I mention that recently I went shopping for a house and ended up with a double storey terrace house, without giving it much of a thought ?

Well in fact, I did it quite spontaneously. Well done Cavin Wong. This is probably your second biggest achievement in life.

** personal mental note ** You have just bought ‘something‘ that’s worth RM0.5 million. Now that you have a big hole in your wallet and your bank account, you can totally forget about photography gears, especially that EOS 1D Mark III.

Anyway, it’s all about making the right choice, you see. The choice that every woman would want a man to make.

If you buy a house/apartment with her name included in the ownership title, your spouse would probably pat your back and go..

“You’re the best hubby in the world….” etc. (p/s: only once/twice in a lifetime.)

If you’re lucky, might even get a kiss.

BUT if you choose to buy something else instead of a house/decided NOT to buy one, they would go nuts and nag you every single night until the day you die.

Worst scenario, you probably won’t rest in peace even after you’re dead because every year’s Qing Ming festival, they would still bring up the same old grandmother stories and mumble in front of your tombstone.

That’s why they say a spouse is someone who’ll stand by you through all the troubles and miseries you wouldn’t have had, if you’d stayed single.
