Cavin goes Bangkok.
It is a shopping haven for girls.
Feeling a lil sick and lazy last minute before departure.

I am still very much impressed by the narrow-body Airbus 320-200 even it’s a small plane. A descendant of Airbus 319 with similar instrument panels and navigation systems. The ascending speed is much slower that the wide-bodies I noticed. The ride was smooth. A bit of turbulence there but no harm.

The sunset is great from above.
Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok’s new airport is an incredible structure. It’s basically made of steel, cement and glass. Simple yet magnificent combination.
Then I proceeded to the hotel, where the rest were waiting. The dudes came a day earlier, so I had to travel alone.
The bloody illegal cabbies offered 900 Baht to take me to the hotel. Believe me. Take the YELLOW CABS. At least they do it for 400 Baht.

Bangkok City Inn Hotel with only USD 30 per night. Good deal for a 4 star. Or maybe it a 3 1/2 only.
No longer feeling sick. I was so energetic and hungry. Time to eat.

So hungry that we decided to skip dinner and shop instead. The hunger will go away itself.
And there we dropped by the nearest Tesco like shopping mall called the Big C for some window shopping.

A bit of window shopping and some fooling around.

There goes Esther, Sam and Samantha. There are signs everywhere reminding patrons NOT to take photos in shopping malls.
Off we go to Suan Lum Night Bazaar in Tuk Tuk, the tiny cab.

Tuk Tuk can be a real rip off if you don’t bargain for the fare. Some even go as high as 100 Baht for a short distance.
To be safe, go for the metered yellow cab.

I’ve always thought that the drivers in Malaysia are the worst but not until I experienced the thrill of riding in a Tuk Tuk.

It was a real cat by the way. So, we reached Suan Lum Night Bazaar. Truly a shopping haven for cheapos like me. Recommended by myCavin.com
And the real shopping begins…
