“I’m late for the interview session !”

This is what happens when you had too much alcohol with very little sleep.

The interview session started at 8.00 am and I conveniently woke up at 7.45 am.

Apparently I wasn’t the only one who was late. MD-san too.

Most of us yawned all the way throughout the sessions.

The only thing that we needed was coffee. Lots of em’.

“Inject me with caffeine, Oh Mighty One..”

I would hold on to my cup of strong black coffee, have a few chit-chats with the leng-luis. At least that ought to keep me awake.

“Are you a Japanese..”

“Do I look like a Japanese to you girls?”

“Yes, that is what we thought..”

“Well, unfortunately I am not. I am a Mayonnaise; Malaysian + Japanese.”

Everyone had a good laugh at that least. Simply to break the ice.

The recruitment ended with utter success. Some small percentage made it through, while the rest…well, we encourage them to re-apply for the upcoming recruitment.

After all, there will be three more new international routes opening up next year. And we will need as many candidates as possible.

I am totally exhausted and desperately in need of some sleep.

Got an important meeting with an aviation company tomorrow at 9.00 am, and the time has come for me to head back to Malaysia as well.

Anyway, that ends my trip to Tokyo for this year. Tentatively, my upcoming stops for next year will be Melbourne, Sydney, Sarawak, Sabah, Singapore, India, Tokyo, Bangkok, Jakarta and probably China.

Now patiently awaiting for the Channel 9 television crew to send me the recruitment film…
